Operation Screen During Remote Capture

EXILIM Connect supports the remote capture operations listed below.
Some operations may differ depending on your smartphone type and camera model.

Back button

Exits Remote Capture.

Remote Capture settings icon

Select this item to configure image recording settings.
The settings you can configure depend on the camera’s recording mode or drive mode. Turning on “Auto copy after shooting” causes images you shoot with the camera to be copied automatically to the connected smartphone.

Recording Mode button*

Tap to change the recording mode.

Display camera images button

Tap to view images stored in camera memory.

Flash setting button*

Displays current flash or LED light settings.

Tap to change flash or LED light settings.

Drive Mode button*

Tap to change the Drive Mode (Single Shot, CS, Interval Shooting, Fixed Point Observation).

Shooting area

Displays what is being picked up by the camera’s lens.

Full-screen display button

Tap to display a full-screen view of the shooting range.
To return to the standard view, tap Exit_Full.

Zoom button*

Performs a zoom operation.

Prerecord CS button*

Starts Prerecord CS shooting.

This button is displayed when Program Auto High Speed CS is selected for the recording mode or drive mode setting, and the “Pre-record CS Shots” setting is anything other than “0” or the “Pre-record CS” setting is on.

Snapshot/Movie button*

Toggles between snapshot and movie shooting.

Shutter button

Shoot a snapshot or start movie recording.

Get images button*

Receives the snapshot that was just recorded with the camera.

This option is not displayed while the “Auto copy after shooting” Remote Capture setting (Setup) is turned on, because recorded images are sent to the smartphone automatically.

GPS icon

Shows whether or not location information is being included. A “GPS” icon is displayed while information is being embedded.

Battery icon*

Shows the camera’s battery status.

Remaining memory capacity*

Shows the current remaining memory capacity.
When shooting snapshots, shows the number of images that can be shot. When shooting a movie, shows the remaining time that can be recorded.

Self-timer button*

Displays current self-timer settings.

Tap to change self-timer settings.

* Depending on the camera model, this function may not be displayed or you may not be able to change its setting.
