To use your smartphone’s GPS for distance, speed, area, and other measurement settings, perform the following operation on your smartphone: Open “Settings”, tap “Location”, use the switch to turn “Location” on, and then choose “High Accuracy” mode.

If your smartphone does not have “High Accuracy” setting, turn on its GPS, Wi-Fi, and mobile network (data communication) settings.
