The Heart Rate watch face detects your movement and automatically performs heart rate measurement accordingly. (Auto Measurement) Display contents change according to whether or not heart rate measurement is being performed. While heart rate measurement is not being performed, the outer periphery of the display shows changes in heart rate zones for a single day.
Auto Measurement of your heart rate will start when the watch detects you are performing any one of the activities below.
• Walking
• Running
• Cycling
Activities other than those above do not trigger heart rate measurement.
If you prefer to start and stop heart rate measurements manually or if you want to measure your heart rate during an activity that is not shown above, change the watch face Heart Rate Measurement setting to Continuous Measurement.
