Activity

Q23
When the watch is paired with an Android phone, the Activity app displays incorrect measurement results.

Example
• The speed value shows 0 (zero) while I am on the move.
• There are breaks in my traveled track while performing a measurement with Snow.
• My pace and stride are not displayed correctly, and Auto Pause does not operate correctly with Running and Trail Running.
A23
When the watch is paired with an Android phone whose location information is enabled, the Activity app uses location information acquired by the phone for measurement.
Though a phone acquires location information and other data from GPS and network sources, this information is prone to large error, and can result in speed data showing zero while you are on the move, and cause errors in watch measurement results.
If this happens, use one of the methods below to configure settings so the watch uses location information acquired by its own built-in GPS instead of by your phone.

Configuring Settings
Method 1 Disable the watch's Bluetooth.
Swipe the watch face from top to bottom and then tap the Airplane mode icon to enter the Airplane mode.
Note that while in the Airplane mode the watch will not display notifications from the phone.

Method 2 Configure settings to disable receipt of location information from the phone.
Note that this method disables watch access to phone location information services that use maps, etc.
