Charging, Power Supply

Q3
The battery runs down too quickly.
What can I do to avoid this?
A3
You can use the actions described below to reduce battery power consumption.

Settings to Reduce Battery Power Consumption
・Select OFF for the Always-on screen setting.
 Settings > Display > Always-on screen > OFF
・Select OFF for the Save Daily Location Info setting.
Location Memory > Settings > Save Daily Location Info > OFF
・Select 2 Layers for the Watch faces setting.
The initial factory default Watch faces setting is Heart Rate.
Long-press the display > Swipe right. > Tap 2 Layers.
・Select OFF for the Wi-Fi setting.
 Settings > Connectivity > Wi-Fi > Wi-Fi > OFF
・Select Battery Priority for the Route Tracking (Activity) setting.
Note that the initial factory default setting is Accuracy Priority, not Battery Priority.
With the Battery Priority setting, battery power consumption is reduced, but measurement accuracy is also lowered.
Location Memory (Upper MAP button) > Swipe the screen upwards to display Settings. > Route Tracking (Activity) > Battery Priority
・Frequent display illumination caused by vibration while cycling or engaged in other activities will run down battery power. To avoid this, select OFF for the Tilt-to-wake setting.
Settings > Gestures > Tilt-to-wake > OFF
・On the watch's app menu, select the Multi Timepiece app to enter the Multi Timepiece Mode.
Entering the Multi Timepiece Mode disables communication functions so the watch only displays the current time.

Other Precautions
・Running, Trail Running, and other Activity measurement operations increase battery power consumption.
・Apps running in the background increase battery power consumption.
Because of this, you should uninstall any apps that you do not use.
