Altitude readings are not correct even though I am using "Correct Altitude Using Location".
A15
"Correct Altitude Using Location" corrects altitude based on GPS information.
Though altitude readings are corrected automatically, GPS measurement values are used as-is (without any correction). Because of this, the corrected result may not necessarily match actual altitude or elevation above sea level.
Such factors as the geoid elevation effect may result in errors in calibrated altitude readings. In Japan, included error is approximately 40 meters.
For more accurate altitude readings when mountain climbing or trekking, remove the check mark from "Correct Altitude Using Location" and manually correct altitude readings at frequent intervals.
With the WSD-F10, GPS information measured by a phone is used. When correcting your movements using GPS information, you must be in a location with good GPS reception. Altitude correction may not be possible or correction may not be performed for long periods if GPS reception is unstable.
