Troubleshooting
This section explains reference information that comes in handy when you experience problems with printer operation. If, for any reason, you cannot find the solution to your problem here, contact your original retailer or a CASIO service center.
The LED indicator doesn’t light when I press

The AC adaptor is not connected correctly.
The AC adaptor used is not the specified AC adaptor.
The batteries used are depleted or are not the specified type.
The batteries are not loaded correctly.

The job finishes normally but nothing is printed.
The tape has run out.
Only blank space was entered.
Printing is not clear.
The printer won’t print clearly.
The printing is too faint.
There is dirt, dust or other soiling on the printer head and rubber roller.

The tape cartridge is not loaded correctly.
The AC adaptor used is not the specified AC adaptor.
The batteries used are depleted or are not the specified type.
There is wrinkling due to slack in the ink ribbon.
The print density is wrong.
Labels aren’t printed
The printer turned off during printing
The AC adaptor used is not the specified AC adaptor.
The batteries used are depleted or are not the specified type.
The ink ribbon is fed out of the tape outlet with the tape.
The tape cartridge was loaded without tightening the ink ribbon.
(Installing/Removing Tape Cartridges)
The LED indicator continuously flashes red.
Printer fault
The tape is wrapped around the rubber roller.
No tape is fed out when I try to print.
The cover on the tape cartridge container is not shut properly.
The tape has run out.
Tape jam
Important!
Do not do any of the following during printing:Block the tape outlet
Touch the tape being fed out
Open the cover of the tape cartridge container
Turn off power.
The AC adaptor used is not the specified AC adaptor.
The batteries used are depleted or are not the specified type.
The printer can’t cut the tape.
The tape is jammed in the tape outlet.
The tape cutter is worn.
Labels don’t stick
The location or the material is not suitable.

Label margins too large
The margin is set to “Large” or “Medium”.
(Due to the construction of the printer, there is always a margin at the top of the label during printing.)
The “Printer not connected” error message appears
No printer is selected.
(Launching the App Subsequently)
Can’t connect to a smartphone
The “Printer not found” error message appears
The printer is not turned on.

Signal reception is poor.
The printer is in use.
Bluetooth is not enabled on the smartphone.
Depending on your smartphone, you may need to enable Bluetooth for each app.
Location information is not enabled on the smartphone.
Depending on your smartphone, you may need to enable location information for each app.
None of the above
