Guidance about how to use the ClassWiz Calc App QR

Menu Reference

(Function) Menu

> [Return to Home]

This returns to the Home screen.

> [Model Selection]

This displays the "Model Selection" screen.

> [Pin screen]

Each tap of this menu item toggles the calculator screen’s pinch out, pinch in, and swipe operations between enabled and disabled.

  • When this item is selected (✓), the calculator screen’s pinch out, pinch in, and swipe operations are disabled.
  • Tapping this menu item to de-select it (checkmark removed), the calculator screen’s pinch out, pinch in, and swipe operations are enabled.

> [License]

This operation displays the "License" screen, which appears as shown below.

  • Remaining days and license expiration date
  • [License details] button

Tapping the [License details] button displays the screen shown below.

Android smartphone or tablet: Google Play "Manage subscription" screen

iPhone or iPad: App Store "Edit subscription" screen

(Help) Menu

> [User’s Guide]

This operation displays the "User’s Guide" screen. You can use this screen to access the manual shown below.

  • How to use this app ... Tapping this option starts up your standard browser and displays this manual.
  • ClassWiz instruction manual ... Tapping this option starts up your standard browser and displays the CASIO scientific calculator manual search page.

(Settings) Menu

> [App settings] > Language settings

This operation displays the "Language settings" screen, which you can use to select the scientific calculator’s display language.

Note
  • The default language setting of this app is the language selected by the system settings of your mobile device. If your mobile device’s language setting is not supported by this app, the app’s default language setting will be English.

> [App settings] > About this app > Version information

This operation displays the app name and version, copyright information, and a link to the CASIO Worldwide Education Website (https://edu.casio.com).

> [App settings] > About this app > OSS license

This operation displays a list of the names of the open-source software (OSS) used by this app.
Tapping an OSS name in this list displays the license agreement of the applicable OSS.

> [App settings] > About this app > Software End User License Agreement

This operation displays the "Software End User License Agreement" text. This text is the same as the text that appears when you start up this app for the first time.

> [App settings] > About this app > Privacy Notice

This operation displays a "Privacy Notice" screen that includes the menu item below.

Full Privacy Notice Displays the Full Privacy Notice.

> [App Settings] > QR code reading

This operation displays a screen that includes the "Sound" and "Vibration" menu items. Use these menu items to enable or disable sound and vibration as required.
