Saving a Bearing to a Destination (Bearing Memory)

You can record the bearing to a destination. The recorded bearing is indicated by the bearing hand. This makes it possible for you to progress towards a target destination even when visibility is poor.

  1. Enter the Compass Mode.

    2. Navigating Between Modes

  2. Keeping the watch horizontal, point 12 o’clock in the direction of the objective your want to record.

  3. Press (D).

    4. The direction of the 12 o’clock position of the watch is recorded as the destination direction.

    To clear a recorded bearing, hold down (D) for at least two seconds.
