Using Auto Start

With Auto Start, a countdown begins five seconds before the start of timing, and the watch beeps from second 3 to second 1 of the countdown.

  1. Enter the Stopwatch Mode.

  2. While the stopwatch is reset to all zeros, press (A).

    3. This displays the Auto Start screen.

    Each press of (A) toggles between the normal screen and the Auto Start screen.

  3. Press (D) to start an Auto Start operation.

    4. A countdown will begin five seconds before the start of timing. Three seconds before the start of timing, the watch will beep at one-second intervals.

Note

Pressing (D) while the countdown is in progress cancels the countdown and starts the stopwatch elapsed time measurement operation.

Stopwatch start and stop can be executed using the same buttons as a normal stopwatch elapsed time measurement operation.

Quitting an elapsed time measurement operation and resetting the stopwatch to all zeros clears Auto Start.
