VO2Max is preset based on your age and other preset information.

After that, if you exercise hard and record a high heart rate, it is updated automatically. If you feel that the VO2Max setting is too high based on your experience, enter an appropriate value for the "Total Maximum Heart Rate" setting. This resets the VO2Max setting.

The above information also applies if you feel that the VO2Max is too low.
