- How can I charge the camera's battery?

- You can use either of the two methods described below to charge the camera's battery.
Note that you should always charge the battery using the USB port, without removing the battery from the camera.
To charge with the USB-AC adaptor(Charging time: Approximately 120 minutes)
The back lamp indicates the current charging condition as described below.
Lamp Status Description Lit Red Charging Flashing Red Abnormal ambient temperature, USB-AC adaptor problem,
or battery problemOff Charging complete
To charge using a USB connection to a computer (Charging time: Approximately 140 minutes)
The back lamp indicates the current charging condition as described below.
• Statuses in parentheses are during USB communication.Lamp Status Description Lit Red,
(Lit/Flashing Amber)Charging Flashing Red Abnormal ambient temperature, charging taking abnormally long, or battery problem Off, (Lit Green) Charging complete
* Charging time is affected by the type of computer being used and by connection conditions.
* Charging can be performed while USB data communication is in progress.
* Connect directly to a USB port what supplies a current of 500mA.
