Q2
What can I do with "One Time Share"?

With One Time Share, you can send selected snapshots to a smartphone that is Bluetooth paired, which then uploads them to a “Scene Server.” To upload snapshots to the Scene sever, you need to have the Scene app installed on the smartphone that is paired with the camera.
  • Your smartphone must have Internet access to use this function.
  • To use this function, there must be a Bluetooth Smart connection between the camera and a smartphone that has Internet access.

*1: A non-transparent Bluetooth connection icon in the lower right corner of the camera monitor screen, or when there is red heart mark in the center of the EXILIM Connect Wireless Mode screen indicates that there is a Bluetooth connection between the camera and smartphone.

Procedure
1. On the camera, Press [MENU]. -> “REC MENU tab” or “PLAY MENU tab” -> Wireless Mode.
This will display the wireless mode screen.
2. Use the <up>, <down>, <left>, and <right> keys to select “Send to phone” and then press the [SET] key.
3. Use the <up> and <down> keys to select “One Time Share” and then press the [SET] key.
4. Use the <up>, <down>, <left>, and <right> keys to move the red boundary to a snapshot you want to share and then press the [SET] key.
Selecting an image causes a check mark to appear in its check box.
     • You can zoom a snapshot by sliding the zoom slider towards the "Tele".
     • To exit the image sharing operation, press the [PLAY] key.
5. After selecting all of the snapshots you want to share, press the [MENU] key.
This will cause the images you selected to be sent to the smartphone, which will then upload them to the Scene Server.
     • A QR code will appear on the camera monitor screen when image send to the smartphone starts.
     • You can use the procedure below to save the displayed QR code as an image in camera memory.
       1. While the QR code is displayed on the camera's monitor screen, press the [MENU] key.
       2. In response to the confirmation message that appears, use the <up> and <down> keys to select “Yes”, and then press the [SET] key.
     • If the upload is taking a long time, the QR code screen will change to an upload in progress message. To stop the upload operation while this message is displayed, press the [MENU] key.
     • Turning off the camera during an ongoing snapshot upload operation will cause uploading to stop.
     • An error message will appear on the camera’s monitor screen if snapshot uploading is not successful for some reason.
6. Using the smartphone with which the snapshots are to be shared, read the QR code from the camera’s monitor screen.
     • Your smartphone must have a QR code reader function in order to read the QR code.
7. Use smartphone to access the URL produced by reading the QR code.
This will display the snapshots that were uploaded when the QR code was created.

NOTE
• You can select up to 100 files, totaling no more than 500MB, for a single share operation.
• Note that the server upload operation may take some time to complete when you select a large number of images.
• To cancel sharing of images, use the Scene app to configure the required settings.
• One Time Share cannot be used if there is insufficient free space on the memory card.
• With iOS, you need to prepare by going to EXILIM Connect settings, tapping Link with Scene app, and selecting Scene Link.
• If you re-install the Scene app, you will also have to re-pair the camera and phone.
