Is there any way to enable simple access to functions I often use?

The REC MENU "Key Customize" setting can be used to assign focus mode, white balance, Exposure, and other Control Panel and menu item functions to the L/Y Key, Control Dial or Function Ring, which makes it easy to change settings as required.

• Step Zoom
• Exposure
• ISO
• White Balance
• MF *2
• Smooth Skin
• Shutter Speed

      • When "Multi" is selected as the AF area setting, the left and right keys shift the focus area.

      • When “Aperture” is assigned to the function ring, rotating the dial adjusts shutter speed.

   NOTE
     • Assigning "Step Zoom" to the Function Ring makes it possible to adjust optical zoom with the Function Ring.
     • The same function cannot be assigned to multiple controllers (keys, control dial).
     • Depending on the recording mode, some functions may not be assignable to the"L/R Key" or the "U/D Key".
