Why is it that the display image sometimes does not enlarge when I use manual focus?

When you press the <left> or <right> keys to focus with manual focus, the display image normally enlarges to help you achieve better focus. However, the image will not enlarge if you are within a range outside that of the optical zoom range.
When focusing with HD zoom, Single SR Zoom, Multi SR Zoom, or digital zoom, change the zoom setting to 10X optical zoom, perform manual focus (with the enlarged display image), and then perform one of the above zoom operations.
