Installation Using a USB Memory Device
* Take great care that your projector is operating in a stable environment during installation. Power failures or removing the USB memory device being used for the installation will disable the projector’s network function.
* Note also that installing firmware that is intended for a different projector model will prevent normal operation of the network function and block future firmware updates.
The repair will be subjest to a fee.
[Getting Ready]
- Extract the file you downloaded. This creates the “CASIO_N_0.02.27.9.03.enc” file.
* Applicable models: XJ-F21XN/F211WN/UT312WN/UT352WN/S400UN/S400WN - Copy the extracted file to the root directory (immediately below the drive level) on a USB memory device.
•Ensure that the root directory contains only the copied file.
•Do not rename the file. - Disconnect the projector’s power cord.
[Installation procedure]
- Plug the USB memory device into the projector.
- Use the power cord to connect the projector to the power outlet.
•The projector starts up in standby mode. - Press and hold the [ENTER] on the projector until the POWER/STANDBY LED starts flashing red.
- After approximately 45 seconds, installation begins.
• Installation takes around 11 minutes. - Installation is complete when the STATUS LED changes from flashing green to steadily lit green.
- Once installation is completed, disconnect the power cord and USB memory device from the projector.

- A) Timeout error
- B) Other error, such as USB memory device not inserted, wrong file name, or file not found on USB memory device * If an error occurs, disconnect the power cord and USB memory device from the projector and try again.
