Installation via a Network

 

*  Take great care that your projector is operating in a stable environment during installation. Power failures or removing the USB memory device being used for the installation will disable the projector’s network function.
*  Note also that installing firmware that is intended for a different projector model will prevent normal operation of the network function and block future firmware updates.
​The repair will be subject to a fee.
 

＜Procedure＞

[Getting Ready]
  1. Extract the file you downloaded. This creates the “CASIO_N_0.02.27.9.03.enc” file.

  2. If there is a projection application linked to the projector, unlink the application before beginning the installation procedure.
[Installation procedure]
  1. Turn on the projector connected via a network.
  2. Switch the input to “Network”.
  3. When the network standby screen appears, enter the projector’s IP address in the address bar of your PC’s browser.
  4. When the Web Service screen appears, click “Setup” in the top right of the screen to log in to the settings page.
  5. Click “Update” > “Firmware Update” and specify the extracted CASIO_N_0.02.27.9.03.enc file.
  6. Updating begins. Updating takes roughly 15 minutes, and no further action is required during that time.
    •During the installation, the browser and projector screens change as shown in “PC and Projector Screen Changes” below.
  7. When the installation is finished, the projector restarts and the network standby screen appears
