■Downloading the Update Software
 
1) Click the download file.
   CASIO_N_0.02.27.9.03.zip (331,416KB)
 
2) In the file save dialog box that appears, specify the location where you want to save the download file and then click the [Save] button.

■Installing the Update Software
* Take great care that your projector is operating in a stable environment during installation. Power failures or removing the USB memory device being used for the installation will disable the projector’s network function.
* Note also that installing firmware that is intended for a different projector model will prevent normal operation of the network function and block future firmware updates. The repair will be subjest to a fee.
 
The firmware can be installed either via a network or using a USB memory device.
 
(1)  Pre-installation checklist

Some user data may be deleted, revoked or initialized by the firmware update. Always check your data before installation and back up any required data.

・Network settings (WPA/WPA2 EAP (TLS))
TLS-related certificates will be revoked. (Client certificates, CA certificates, keys)
・Templates (file/folder names)
All template images will be deleted. (Images inside “Folder1” are not deleted.)
All folder names are initialized (reset).
・Crestron control settings (IP, ID, PORT)
All Crestron control settings will be initialized. (IP address, IP-ID, port number)
・Moderator settings
Thumbnail display settings will be initialized.
Moderator lock settings will be initialized.
・Display language (CASIO Web Service)
The display language will be English.

Installation via a Network
Installation Using a USB Memory Device
 
[Caution]
Take great care that your projector is operating in a stable environment during installation. Power failures or removing the USB memory device being used for the installation will disable the projector’s network function.
Note also that installing firmware that is intended for a different projector model will prevent normal operation of the network function and block future firmware updates. The repair will be subjest to a fee.
Ensure that the power supplied from mains power outlet used for installation is the specified voltage.
Do not use a multi-outlet power board used to connect multiple electrical devices to a single power outlet.
Do not use a power outlet that is also being used to power other electrical devices. When using an extension cord, check the ampere rating for that extension cord.
Note that once you have updated the firmware, you cannot undo the installation and restore your projector to its original firmware version.
 

■Projector Product Warranty Period
 
Regardless of whether you use this software to update your projector, the product warranty period as listed when you purchased your projector does not change.
