Why aren't altitude readings correct even though I am using [Calibrate for current location]?
[Calibrate for current location] corrects altitude based on GPS information. Though it automatically calibrates altitude readings, GPS measurement values are used as-is (without any correction), so the calibrated result may not necessarily match actual altitude or elevation above sea level. Such factors as the geoid elevation effect may result in errors in calibrated altitude readings.
For more accurate altitude readings, remove the check mark from [Calibrate for current location] and manually calibrate altitude readings at frequent intervals. With the WSD-F10, GPS information measured by a phone is used.
