Notifications (General)

Notifications from the phone app do not make it to the watch or do not cause a vibration operation to be performed.
Phone Operation
  • Wear OS by Google app notifications are enabled in the watch settings.
  • Phone app notifications are enabled in the phone settings.
  • "WON'T NOTIFY YOUR WATCH" is not registered in the phone's Wear OS by Google app settings.
  • If you are using the watch paired with an iPhone, you will need to restart the Wear OS by Google app.
  • Whether or not notification detail settings can be configured by an app depends on the app being used.

Watch Operation
  • Set silent mode
    Swipe the watch face from top to bottom, and then tap the silent mode icon that appears.
  • The watch does not have settings to control notification vibration.
  • Edit Notification Settings.
    Follow Settings > Apps & notifications > Notification previews and tap [High] or [Normal] to set notification.
    Also specify the display settings by following flow; Settings > Apps & notifications > App notifications > Show disabled.

LINE or Similar App
If your notifications being received via LINE, some similar type of app, there may be a problem with the app.
