Why is automatic time adjustment by phone connection disabled?

Getting Ready
・Make sure the watch is registered for pairing with the phone app. 
・If you have not started up the app for some time, it is recommended that you start it up and establish a Bluetooth connection with the watch. 
・Place the watch close to your phone. 
 (For information about when auto time adjustment is performed, refer to the section about automatic time adjustment by phone connection in the User's Guide.) 

To perform auto time adjustment, check to ensure that the watch and your phone are set up as described below.

Watch Setup
・Timekeeping screen displayed
・Auto time adjustment setting: ON

Phone Setup
・Bluetooth: ON (Turned OFF in the Airplane Mode.)
・Location services: ON, and app location services permissions: ON
・Power saving related functions: OFF (battery, low power, battery, not monitored, and other settings)

The impact of phone settings and other factors will vary depending on the operating system version and manufacturer. They are not limited to those described above. 
For information about phone settings, consult with your phone manufacturer or the support staff of your contracted carrier.
