The following procedures explain how to use each mode.
A A(Aperture Priority) mode
In this mode, you select the aperture and other settings are adjusted accordingly.
S S(Shutter Speed Priority) mode
In this mode, you select the shutter speed and other settings are adjusted accordingly.
M M(Manual Exposure) mode
This mode gives you total control over aperture and shutter speed settings.
• "AUTO" cannot be selected for the "ISO Sensitivity" setting while M is selected for the recording mode.
• The maximum exposure time while ISO80 is selected whole shooting with the M mode is 250 seconds.
NOTE
• You may not be able to achieve the brightness you want when shooting an image that is very dark or very bright.
• The displayed ISO sensitivity, shutter speed or aperture value will turn orange when you half-press the shutter button if the image is overexposed or underexposed.
• The "Auto Flash" and "Red Eye Reduction" flash modes are not supported while A, S, or M is selected for the recording mode. If you want the flash to fire, select "Flash On" as the flash mode.
A (Aperture AE) mode, S (Shutter Speed AE) mode, M (Manual Exposure) mode.
• Continuous Shutter (CS) shooting is supported in the A (Aperture Priority), S (Shutter Speed Priority), and M (Manual Exposure) modes. Note, however, that the selectable exposure time may become shorter if the camera's internal temperature becomes high.
• At an exposure time of 10 seconds or longer, the time it takes to record an image will be double that of the exposure time.
