- Q18
- Why are there horizontal bands in the images I shoot?
- A18
- The CMOS characteristics of the camera's imaging element are such that horizontal banding in images can be caused by shooting under conditions where fluorescent lighting or a strong light source is present. Banding tends to occur during high-speed continuous shutter and high-speed movie recording, so be sure to check shooting conditions before performing such recording.
