Any of the following can cause the interior of the camera to become hot, which can cause the "ALERT" or "Overheating. Power will turn off." message to appear and the camera to power down.
• Using the camera non-stop for a long time.
• Shooting under very high temperatures.
• Using the camera immediately after leaving it in a location exposed
to direct sunlight.
If the "ALERT" or "Overheating. Power will turn off." message appears and the camera powers down, leave the camera off and leave it to a cool location where it is not exposed to direct sunlight. Normal operation will resume after the interior of the camera temperature drops.
NOTE
• Using a wireless function or other function while recording a movie requires multiple processes to be performed at the same time. This can cause the camera to become hot and display a warning message.
