1) If this error message keeps appearing for the same memory card, it indicates a problem with the memory card.
Try using a different memory card.
2) There is something wrong with the memory card. Turn off the camera, remove the memory card and then reload it into the camera. If this message re-appears when you turn the camera back on, format the memory card.
IMPORTANT!
• Formatting a memory card deletes all its files. Before formatting, try transferring recoverable files to a computer or some other storage device.
3) Are you trying to use an Eye-Fi card?
Use of an Eye-Fi card is not supported on a model that does not have an "Eye-Fi" item on a MENU tab (on the SETTING or Set Up), or on the PLAY tab. This error message will appear if you try to use an Eye-Fi card with a camera that does not support Eye-Fi card use.
