Why can't I perform Eye-Fi communication? 
When does Eye-Fi card data communication start?

 • Are Eye-Fi card settings configured properly? 
   If the Eye-Fi card is unable to communicate with an accessible point, check the Eye-Fi communication
   settings. 
 
 • If there aren't any problems with the Eye-Fi communication settings, what you should do next 
   depends on which tab(s) of your camera model the "Eye-Fi" item appears as described below.

     - "Eye-Fi" items on the Setup tab or the SETTING tab in both the REC and PLAY modes:
        Is "On" selected for the Eye-Fi setting?
        Check the current "Eye-Fi" setting. If it is "Off", change it to "On". 
        Eye-Fi communication starts after you shoot an image. If the Eye-Fi card contains images
        that still have not been transferred, transfer starts immediately after the camera is turned on.
        Note, however, that data is not transferred while the camera is operating (recording a movie,
        storing data, etc.). 

     - "Eye-Fi" item on the PLAY tab or the PLAY MENU tab in the PLAY mode only:
        In the PLAY mode, display the PLAY tab and then select the "Eye-Fi" item.
        Press [SET] to start communication.

If communication is still not possible after you take the steps described above, check the instructions that come with your Eye-Fi card or contact the card manufacturer.
