- The camera suddenly powers down.

- 1) Auto Power Off may have activated. Turn power back on.
2) The battery may be dead. Charge the battery.
3) The camera’s protection function may have activated because camera temperature is too high.
Turn off the camera and wait until it cools down before trying to use it again.
4) When "Information display off" is selected, selecting the Voice Recording BEST SHOT scene will cause camera information to appear momentarily, and then the monitor screen will go blank. After that, the back lamp will light green. Press the up (DISP) key one to display information.
