Why is it that the display image sometimes does not enlarge when I use manual focus?

When you press the left or right key to focus with manual focus, the display image normally enlarges to help you achieve better focus. If you have zoomed in on your subject and are within the digital zoom range, however, the display image will not enlarge. If this happens, change the zoom setting to 7X optical zoom, perform manual focus (with the enlarged display image), and then zoom further with digital zoom, if you want.
