With FHD and STD movie recording, Prerecord Movie pre-records five seconds of the action that occurs before you press the Movie button to start recording. With High Speed (HS) Movie, it pre-records two seconds.
To activate Prerecord Movie, press [MENU]. On the Quality tab, configure the "Quality" settings you want. Finally, use BEST SHOT to select "38 Prerecord Movie".
* With Prerecord Movie, perform Auto Focus by half-pressing and holding the movie button for at least
five seconds (two seconds in the case of a High Speed (HS) Movie) before you start to shoot.
* Activating Prerecord Movie starts continual prerecording of images, which consumes battery power.
Take care you do not leave it on and run down the battery.
