Movie File List

The following are the movie file formats that can be played by the XJ-S35/YP-100.
Movie files recorded with CASIO EXILIM Series Digital Cameras
  * : Except for some models.
  Use the USB cable to connect the XJ-S35/YP-100 directly to the camera and play the movie.
You can also save the movie file to a USB memory device, which you can then connect to the XJ-S35/YP-100 for playback.
Movie file converted on a computer to a format that can be played back on the XJ-S35/YP-100
  The XJ-S35/YP-100 supports playback of VGA (640 x 480) size or QVGA (320 x 240) size mp4 format movie files.
You can also save the converted movie file to a USB memory device, which you can then connect to the XJ-S35/YP-100 for playback.

CASIO EXILIM Series Digital Camera Movie Files


The following information applies to movie files transferred from a CASIO EXILIM Series Digital Camera using a USB cable or USB memory device.
Note : Direct playback is not supported for movies recorded with EXILIM models that are not included in the table below.

*1 Data is loaded into XJ-S35/YP-100 RAM and then played back. The message "Now Loading..." is displayed while data is loading prior to playback.
*2 Causes a "This movie file cannot be played back." error.
*3 25 fps or less recommended (some frames may be dropped in the case of some data).
*4 15 fps or less recommended (some frames may be dropped in the case of some data).
* The XJ-S35 does not support audio output. The YP-100 has an audio output terminal, which can be used for connection of a speaker, etc.
* Some movies files may not be able to play back correctly, even if they are within the ranges shown above.
