• Adds a function which can select a step sequencer pattern as a target for Multi-Function Key.
  Press "PERFORM" button then press the "EDIT" button to display the Performance editing screen.
  Perform the following operation. "Mltfunc Key" -> "Key Setting"
  When you select "Step Seq", you can edit the following parameter in addition.

Pattern Specifies a step sequencer pattern number changed by pressing Multi-Function Key.  
In the case of  "stay", the pattern number remains the same.		 Stay, 1-8
• Adds an wave level indicator to User Wave Tone editing list.
  When you select a User Wave Tone (U:200-209), press the "TONE" button then press the "EDIT" button to display the Tone Editing Screen.
  Perform the following operation. "Split Edit" -> "Points"
  When you choose any points (Start/Loop/End), press the "MENU" button, you can confirm a wave level.
  If you want to quit to watch wave level, press the "EXIT" button.
• Improved certain operation.

Applicable Users
XW-G1 owners whose instrument is still running less than Version 1.11 firmware.
Note that when the firmware of the instrument is updated, the firmware is unreturnable to original version.

To check your firmware version
On your XW-G1 instrument, press the [POWER] button to turn on the instrument.
Press the "SETTING" button to display the setting screen.
If you can not find "INFO" under "MIDI" in the list, the firmware version of the instrument is less than 1.11. You need to download this update software and install it on the instrument.
If you can find "INFO" and press [ENTER] to display the version confirmation screen, the firmware version of the instrument is the number which is displayed.

*    In order to download and use the update software, you must first read and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of the End User Software Licensing Agreement (Agreement) below.

End User Software Licensing Agreement
CASIO COMPUTER CO., LTD.
1 License
CASIO, as the owner of this Software and other intellectual asset rights, grants you the following non-exclusive, non-transferrable, copyright license subject to the terms of this Agreement.
1) You may install and use this Software on your XW-G1 Synthesizer.
2) You may make one copy of this Software on a memory card for the purpose of installing the software on your XW-G1 Synthesizer.
2 Prohibitions
1) Except as permitted by this Agreement, you may not copy this Software either in part or its entirety.
2) You may not modify, alter, adapt, reverse engineer, disassemble, decompile or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Software.
3) You may not resell, rend, lease, loan, or distribute this Software, or place the Software on a server or make it accessible by means of a network.
4) You may not sublicense or transfer this Software to a third party.
5) You may not use this Software for any unlawful purpose, or in any manner inconsistent with this Agreement.
3 Period of Agreement
1) This Agreement becomes binding as soon as you download the Software.
2) This Agreement becomes null and void when you destroy all of your copies of this Software.
3) CASIO may terminate this license at any time if you are in breach of the terms of this Agreement. Upon termination, you will immediately destroy the all of your copies of this Software.
4 Limitation of Liability
1) This Software is provided "as is," and CASIO makes no express warranty concerning the Software's ability to operate properly or to be free of defects, or concerning the correction of defects in the future, or the suitability of the Software functions for any particular purpose.
2) In no event shall CASIO be liable for any damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, damages for loss of profits, business interruption, loss of information) arising out of the use of or inability to use this software, even if CASIO has been adviced of the possibility of such damages.
5 Other
1) Items not covered by the Agreement or items that require further negotiation shall be settled by mutual agreement between you and CASIO.
2) Any claim arising under or relating to this Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Japan.
3) Any dispute arising under or relating to this Agreement shall come under the jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court.
