USB Function (Troubleshooting)

Q4
What should I do when I can't establish a wireless connection?
A4
Check the setup as described below.
Projector Checkpoints
- Is the wireless adapter (YW-3) plugged into the projector's special YW-3 port?
- Is the projector turned on?
- Is the Wireless Standby Screen being projected?
Wireless connection is possible only if the Wireless Standby Screen is being projected. The Wireless Standby Screen also should show an SSID, login code, and other information required for establishing a wireless connection. Refer to this screen when trying to establish a wireless connection.

Computer Checkpoints
- Does your computer have wireless capabilities?
- Is your computer's wireless function enabled?
- Is a utility that limits communication running on your computer?
- Is security software running on your computer?

Radio Interference Checkpoints
- Is the projector and computer too far apart or are they separated by a wall or other barrier?
Try locating the projector and computer as close as possible to each other. As a general rule, there should be an unimpeded line of sight between them that is no greater than about 30 meters.
You also might try changing the relative positions of the projector and computer.
- Is a microwave oven or a Bluetooth device being used nearby?
Operation of a device that uses the 2.4 GHz frequency band (which is the same frequency band as the IEEE802.11b/g wireless standard used by the projector) in the vicinity of the projector can cause radio interference that causes a wireless communication error. Avoid using the nearby microwave oven or Bluetooth device when performing the projector wireless LAN communication.
