- When shooting with Premium Auto, the camera analyzes shooting conditions and selects the required functions and settings automatically. Focus mode is not included on the [MENU] screen, and so it cannot be changed.
If you want to configure this setting manually, use the Control Panel to change the recording mode to Auto.
Also, the AF focus mode is always used (and cannot be changed) while face detection is enabled.
To use the camera's current focus mode setting, disable face detection.
* The Face Detection setting is always "On" (and cannot be changed) while the Make-up Mode is enabled (On).
