Why doesn't the self-timer work?

The self-timer cannot be used with certain recording functions.

• The Self-timer cannot be used together with the following.
  High Speed CS with Prerecord CS, Prerecord (Movie), Slide Panorama,
   Wide Shot, Triple Shot

• The Triple Self-timer cannot be used together with the following.
  Movie, Time Lapse, High Speed CS, Multi SR Zoom, HS Night Shot,
  HS Best Selection, Blurred Background, All-In-Focus Macro, Intelligent Bracketing, Interval Shot

NOTE
  The Motion Shutter Mode cannot be used while the Control Panel's self-timer setting is enabled.
  In this case, only normal shooting is possible.
