Q12
Why is it that the display image sometimes does not enlarge when I use manual focus?
A12
When you press the <left> or <right> keys to focus with manual focus, the display image normally enlarges to help you achieve better focus. However, the image will not enlarge if you are within a range outside that of the optical zoom range.
When focusing with HD zoom, Single SR Zoom, Multi SR Zoom, or digital zoom, change the zoom setting to 10.7X optical zoom, perform manual focus (with the enlarged display image), and then perform one of the above zoom operations.

NOTE
• While "MF" is selected as the focus mode, the up and down keys adjust the focus frame position and the left and right keys adjust focus. If functions have been assigned to the up/down keys or left/right keys, the MF focus mode operations override the assigned functions.
• While the focus mode is MF, the up and down keys perform the functions described above, and do not perform their normal functions (monitor screen information on/off and flash setting selection).
• With some Art Shot scenes and some Time Lapse scenes, the focus frame position is fixed and cannot be shifted.
