Procedure
1. EX-10, EX-100, EX-ZR50, or EX-ZR850: With the camera in any one of the recording modes listed in the table above, perform the following operation: MENU REC MENU tab Remote Capture RemoteStart [SET].
EX-TR15, EX-TR17, EX-TR35, EX-TR37, EX-TR50, or EX-TR52: In the REC mode, touch the [Remote Capture] icon.
2. On your smartphone, start up the EXILIM Remote app.
This will establish a connection between the smartphone and your camera, which will cause the camera's back lamp to light green.
    • About 60 seconds after your camera establishes a connection with the smartphone, the camera's monitor screen will go blank.
    • If the message "Connect your phone to the access point below." remains on the camera's monitor screen, change the smartphone's Wi-Fi settings so your camera is selected for connection.
3. Compose the image on your smartphone's screen as you shoot.
    • After you are finished using Remote Capture, exit the app on your smartphone.

NOTE
 • To use any of these functions, you need to install the EXILIM Remote app on your smartphone.
 • The Movie Quality is always STD (640x480) when shooting with Remote Capture.
 • The camera’s Handsfree Mode cannot be used while shooting with this function.
 • High Speed CS and Prerecord CS can be used in any recording mode other than Premium Auto Pro.
However, note that AF-CS shooting is not supported.
Configure CS Speed, Maximum CS Shots, and Pre-record CS Shots settings on the camera before establishing a wireless LAN connection.
   - EX-TR15, EX-TR17, EX-TR35, EX-TR37, EX-TR50, or EX-TR52: CS shooting is not supported.
 • In the case of Prerecord CS, tapping the "PAST" button at the bottom of the smartphones screen will start continual pre-recording of images to a temporary buffer. After that, tapping the shutter button will record the number of images specified by "Maximum CS Shots" (pre-recorded images plus real-time recorded images).
 • With some smartphones, you may not be able to send images from the camera if images were recorded with Remote Capture without use of position information enabled.
 • You can specify the size of the image sent to the smartphone using "Resize before send".

3M Images are converted to 3M size before being sent.
• If an original image is 3M size or smaller, it is sent without resizing.
• If an original image size is 3:2 or 16:9, its aspect ratio becomes 4:3.
Original (Off) Images are sent in the pixels size they were originally recorded.
