Can I shoot a snapshot while movie recording is in progress?

Yes. Simply press the shutter button all the way down without stopping movie recording. Shooting a snapshot displays an icon and the number of shots recorded will be displayed. If the number of shots reaches the allowable maximum number of shots, the icon and number will turn red indicating no more snapshot shooting is allowed. Movie recording continues in this case.
• When the movie image size is HDp30, snapshots are 1280 X 720.
• When the movie image size is VGAp30, snapshots are 640 X 480.
