Can I apply effects to recorded images?

Yes. You can use Color Mode, Art Effect, and Radial Blur to apply effects to images. You can either select an effect and then shoot the image, or you can apply an effect to an image you recorded.


To select an effect and then record
1. On the REC screen, press the [Fn] button, select "My Mode" (the top item) on the menu bar, and
    then select "Program".
    In order to select Art Effect, you will need to have camera settings configured as shown below.
      [M] (Menu) AF Area: Anything other than Face Tracking
      [M] (Menu) Digital Zoon: OFF
2. On the menu bar, select the effect you want from "Color Mode" or "Art Effect", and then press [OK].
3. Press the shutter button to shoot the image.


Color Mode: Vivid, Sepia, B&W, Vivid Red, Vivid Green, Vivid Blue (6 kinds)
Art Effect: Fisheye Lens, Miniature Effect, Painting, Sketch (4 kinds)


* Note that the only image saved when you shoot is one with the effects applied.
* Only Color Mode settings can be applied to movie recording.



To apply effects to a snapshot after shooting it
1. On the PLAY screen, display the snapshot you want.
2. Next, press [M] (Menu).
3. On the PLAY menu, select "Color Code", "Art Effect", or "Radial Blur".
4. Select the effect you want and and then press [OK].


Color Mode: Sepia, B&W, Vivid Red, Vivid Green, Vivid Blue (5 kinds)
Art Effect: Negative, Mosaic, Astral, Miniature Effect, Painting, Sketch (6 kinds)
Radial Blur: High, Normal, Low (3 kinds)


 * Edited images are saved a new file.
 * Note that you cannot apply effects to a movie after recording it.
