- The battery does not charge or back lamp of the camera flashes red.

- Check the following.
• Error indication (camera back lamp flashing red) that may be due to the temperature of the battery or the area where you are trying to charge is outside the allowable range (10°C to 35°C).
In this case, disconnect the USB cable and put the camera in a location where the temperature of the battery and/or camera can return within the allowable range. After a while, try again.• Error indication (camera back lamp flashing red) that may be due to dirty battery contacts.
If they are, wipe them with a soft cloth and try again.• Operation is not guaranteed in the case of a computer built or modified by you.
Even In the case of a commercially available computer, certain USB port specifications may make it impossible to charge via the USB cable.• The camera may not operate properly if you charge it using another manufacturer's AC adaptor.
Always use only genuine CASIO accessories.
* If charging fails or if the error indication (camera back lamp flashing) continues after you take the steps described above, it could mean that the battery is defective. Contact your local Authorized CASIO Service Center.
