- The power on feature of the REC and PLAY keys is disabled under initial camera default settings.
You can change this setting and enable power on, if you want. Note, however, that the camera can turn on unintentionally when REC/PLAY key power is enabled if the keys are pressed while you are carrying the camera in a bag, etc.
