- 1) The battery may not be loaded correctly.
With the EXILIM logo on the battery facing downwards (in the direction of the lens),
hold the stopper next to the battery slot in the direction indicated by the arrow as you slide
the battery, contacts first, into the camera. Press the battery in until the stopper
secures it in place.2) The battery may be dead. Charge the battery. If the battery goes dead soon after
being charged, it means the battery has reached the end of its life and needs to be
replaced. Purchase a separately available CASIO NP-80 rechargeable lithium ion battery.
