The following are the approximate focusing ranges of each.
• Macro: 5cm to 50cm at full wide-angle
1cm to 50cm at fifth step zoom from full wide-angle
90cm to 120cm at full telephoto
• Super Macro: 1cm to 50cm (Super Macro Zoom position)
Super Macro
Super Macro fixes optical zoom at a position that allows you to shoot from the closest distance to the subject. The result is closer and larger subject images.
