- Simply half-press the shutter button and the camera instantly starts making decisions about shooting conditions, focus, the subject, lighting and a host of other parameters. Premium Auto then automatically configures settings as required and performs appropriate corrections and compensations.
The following are just some of the functions that are applied by Premium Auto.
• Continuous AF Auto Focus is normally performed until you half-press the shutter button. • Face Detection When shooting people, the face detection feature detects the faces of up to eight individuals and adjusts focus and brightness accordingly. • Make-up/Landscape The camera will automatically touch up people and scenery to help ensure beautiful image every time. • Lighting When the camera detects backlighting, it automatically suppresses blackout of the subject and whiteout of the background. • Intelligent Color The camera also automatically judges the white balance of the background when shooting with flash. Unnatural color differences from those in the areas that the flash illuminates are adjusted for more natural color tones.
