When things don't go right...

Q16: The camera suddenly powers down.
A16: 1) Auto Power Off may have activated. Turn power back on.
2) The battery may be dead. Charge the battery.
3) The camera’s protection function may have activated because camera temperature is too high.
     Turn off the camera and wait until it cools down before trying to use it again.
4) The Mode Dial may be set to voice recording with information display turned off (Info Off).
     With this setup, the monitor screen will momentarily display information and then go blank,
     making it appear as if power is turned off. If this is the case, the camera's back lamp will
     be lit green. Press the up (DISP) key one to display information.
