You can use either of the two following methods to charge the camera's battery.
To charge with the USB-AC adaptor (Charging time: Approximately 2 hours)
The back lamp indicates the current charging condition as described below.Lamp Status Description Lit Red Charging Flashing Red Abnormal ambient temperature, USB-AC adaptor problem,
or battery problemOff Charging complete
To charge using a USB connection to a computer (Charging time: Approximately 2 hours 20 minutes)

(Lit/Flashing Amber)Charging Flashing Red Abnormal ambient temperature, charging taking abnormally long, or battery problem Off, (Lit Green) Charging complete
- Charging time is affected by the type of computer being used and by connection conditions.
- Charging can be performed while USB data communication is in progress.
- Connect directly to a USB port what supplies a current of 500mA.

the computer.
You also can use the optionally available special charger (BC-80L option) for charging.
