What can I do with Wide View Photo?

This function shoots multiple images of different angles of view with a single shutter button operation.It comes in handy when you want to shoot both a foreground subject and a waide shot of the background with a single operation.
Shooting a Wide View Photo saves three images.
 - Original image
 - Part cut out of the orijinal image
 - Wide View Photo Movie
A Wide View Photo Movie uses the original image and a cutout of the original image to create a movie that expands from a close up a wider view.After sending wide view images to a smartphone, you chan then upload them from the smartphone to social networking site.

Procedure
1. Align the mode dial with Wide View Photo.
2. Rotate the function ring to select the size of the cutout image.
3. Half-press the shutter button.
If you move the camera while the shutter button is half-pressed, the cutout image frame will change position.
4. Press the shutter button all the way down to shoot.

NOTE
The original image size is fixed as 12M.
The size of a wide view photo movie recorded with Wide View Photo is fixed as STD.
When shooting with Wide View Photo, the AF area setting is fixed as "Spot".
If the "Self-timer" setting is "x3" when Wide View Photo is selected, it will automatically change to "Off".
If the "Focus" setting is "MF" when Wide View Photo is selected , it will automatically change to "AF".
The functions below cannot be used together with Wide View Photo.
Motion Shutter, Zoom(SR), Digital Zoom, CS
You can change the zoom factor by rotating the zoom controller.
The cutout frame may not operate properly when shootine the types of subjects described below.
- Solid color wall to other very low contrast subject
- Moving subject
Performing an Auto Send operation of a cutout image recorded with Wide View Photo also sends its wide view photo movie.
Deleting a cutout image also deletes its wide view photo movi.
A wide view photo movie cannot be deleted independently.
Protecting a cutout image also protects its wide view photo movie.
The functions below cannot be used on a wode view photo movie created by Wide View Photo.
Highliht Movie, Movie Editing, Movie Merge
The original image and cutout image are stored in a Recording folder inside the DCIM folder.
A Wide View Photo movie is stored in a Recording folder inside the MOV folder.
