What can I do with "Auto Send"?
A9
With Auto Send, you can have the camera automatically send all images as they are shot to a smartphone that has been paired with it by Bluetooth. Or you can have images sent after you check them.
If there is no connection between the camera and smartphone when the images are shot, they will be sent as soon as a connection is established.

Procedure
 1. On the camera, press [Wireless] button.
This will display the wireless mode screen.
• Pressing the wireless button again will return to the screen that was displayed before the wireless mode screen.
 2. On the camera, use the <up>, <down>, <left>, and <right> keys to select “Wireless settings” and then press [SET].
This will display the wireless settings screen.
 3. On the camera, use the <up> and <down> keys to select “Auto Send” and then press [SET].
 4. Select “All” or "Off" and then press [SET].
 5. When the settings are the way you want, press [SET].
• Pressing [MENU] cancels the currently displayed settings and returns to the wireless mode screen.
 6. On the camera, enter the REC mode and shoot.
• Images that are sent will be marked by a sent icon.
This will establish a wireless LAN connection between your camera and smartphone, and send the snapshot you just recorded to the smartphone.

NOTE
 • If the camera is paired with a smartphone and Auto Send is turned off, a send image icon will appear when a recorded image is displayed on the camera monitor screen.Pressing [SET] while a send image icon is displayed will cause the image to be sent to the smartphone.
 • Both a Bluetooth and wireless LAN connection are required between the camera and smartphone to auto send camera images.
 • You can specify the type of images to be sent using the Auto Send File Settings item on the wireless settings screen. Options are: snapshots, Wide View Photos and movies, snapshots and Wide View Photos, selfie, portrait, or non-portrait.
 • The maximum size movie file that can be sent by Auto Send is 100MB.
 • You can specify the size of the image sent to the smartphone using "Resize before send".
3M  Images are converted to 3M size before being sent.
• If an original image is 3M size or smaller, it is sent without resizing.
Original (Off) Images are sent in the pixels size they were originally recorded.

 • You can use the smartphone apps below to view snapshots after sending them.
- iPhone: Camera Roll of the Photos app
- Android terminal: Gallery, Photo, or another photo browser app
 • Auto Send is disabled while the camera’s Airplane Mode setting is “On”.
 • Auto Send become re-enabled when the setting is changed to “Off”.
 • Even you change the Auto Send setting to "Off" while "All" or "Off" image send operation is in progress, all of the images will be sent to the smartphone.
 • Images shot while the camera’s Auto Send setting is “All” or “Off” will be sent to the smartphone, even if the app's Auto Send setting is changed to “Off” before the images are sent.
 • When “All” or “Confirst” is selected for Auto Send, a message will appear whenever you try to delete a file or turn off the camera.
 • If you try to turn off the camera while there are unsent images in memory, a message will appear to alert you. If you want the images to be sent, leave the camera on until the send operation is complete. Pressing the camera’s [ON/OFF](Power) again will turn off the camera.
 • If connection between the camera and smartphone is terminated while there are unsent images, a warning message will appear and then the camera will automatically turn off after about one minute. In this case, the camera will try to send the images again after it is turned back on.
 • If the camera turns off due to low battery power while there are pending Auto Send images, the pending images will be sent the next time the camera is turned on after charging. This is true as long as the pairing relationship between the camera and smartphone is maintained.
 • If the camera is unable to establish a wireless LAN (Wi-Fi) connection for one minute because the smartphone's Wi-Fi is disabled (OFF) or for some other reason, the camera will autmatically stop wireless LAN (Wi-Fi) processes in order to reduce power consumption. If you want to Auto Send previously recorded images to the smartphone, enable smartphone Wi-Fi and then turn the camera off and then back on again. This will re-execute Auto Send.
 • The image data below is not sent automatically to the smartphone.
