Can I add location information to recorded images?

Yes.
You can enable the setting below to have the smartphone acquire and record location information (latitude and longitude) when you shoot a snapshot with the camera. Then when you send the snapshot to the smartphone, the location information will be added to it. Note that location information cannot be added to movies.

 Setting Description
ON Smartphone acquires and records location information when a snapshot is shot, and adds it to the image data when the snapshot is sent to the camera.
OFF Disables location info.

On an Android terminal, select "Setting" on the Remote Capture screen..
* With an Android terminal you will need to turn on the the operating system's position information service.

NOTE
Location information can be recorded only while there is a Bluetooth technology connection between the camera and smartphone.
To select “On” for the camera’s “Location info” setting, pair the camera with a smartphone.
While “On” is selected for “Location info”, the smartphone acquires and records location information each time you shoot a snapshot with the camera.
Location information is not added to snapshot data stored in camera memory. It is added when the snapshot is sent to the smartphone.
Up to 10,000 location records can be maintained by the smartphone. If there are already 10,000 records, shooting a new snapshot will cause the oldest location record to be deleted to make room for the new one.
Note that the smartphone’s location services must be enabled (on) to use Location info.
Note you will not be able to add position information if your smartphone is unable to obtain it.
The image data below is not add position information.

Note that location information may include the location of your house or other personal information. Take care when sharing or publishing snapshots that contain location information on web services, etc.
This camera is not designed to be used for navigation, surveying, or other activities that require precision instruments.
