- The following is the format of movie files produce by this camera: MOV, H.264/AVC standard; IMA-ADPCM audio (stereo). The minimum system requirements described below are necessary to play back movies your computer.

Movie Playback Precautions • Be sure to move the movie data to the hard disk of your computer before trying to play it. Proper movie playback may not be possible for data accessed over a network, from a memory card, etc. • Proper movie playback may not be possible on some computers. If you experience problems, try the following.
- Change the movie image quality setting to "STD".
- Shut down other applications that are running.
Even if proper playback is not possible on your computer, you can use a commercially available HDMI cable to connect to the video input terminal of a TV or computer and play back movies that way.
Use a HDMI cable that with a plug that is compatible with the camera's HDMI micro connector on one end, and a plug that is compatible with your TV's HDMI connector on the other end.
