Q31
What can I do with the Custom Shot?
A31

You can register up to 999 setups, based on snapshots shot with the camera, as Custom Shot scenes. Selecting a registered Custom Shot scene configures the camera with its settings.

To create a Custom Shot scene
1. On the BEST SHOT scene menu, select the scene named "CUSTOM SHOT (Register User Scene)" and then press [SET].
2. Use the <left> and <right> keys to select the snapshot whose setup you want to save.
3. Use the <up> and <down> keys to select "Save", and then press [SET].
The saved setup will be assigned the name "Custom Scene".
.
To delete a Custom Shot scene
1. Display the information screen of the user BEST SHOT scene you want to delete.
You can scroll through screens by sliding the zoom lever.
2. Press the <down> key, select "Clear", and then press [SET].

NOTE
The setups of snapshots recorded with the following modes and features can be registered as "CUSTOM SHOT" scenes.
Program Auto, A Mode, S Mode, M Mode, some BEST SHOT scenes (Excluding "Prerecord (Movie)", "All-In-Focus Macro", "HDMI TV Output", "Magnifying Glass", "Slide Panorama" and "Wide Shot".)
A movie setup cannot be registered as a "CUSTOM SHOT" scene.
The following are the settings that are saved for each "CUSTOM SHOT" scene.
Face Detection, Focus, Exposure, White Balance, Flash, ISO, Metering, Lighting, Flash Intensity, Sharpness, Saturation, Contrast
Formatting the camera's built-in memory deletes all Custom Shot scene files.
You can register the setup of a High Speed CS or AF-CS image group as a CUSTOM SHOT, but recalling such a scene configures the camera for single snapshot shooting. It does not configure the camera for Continuous Shutter shooting.
